Mary LeAnn Schrag, 54, was surrounded by family when she entered her heavenly home on Sunday, March 12th, 2023.
LeAnn and her husband Leslie were married April 22nd, 1989. She worked as a waitress off and on for many years before settling into her role at the Hesston branch of the postal service, where her cheerful and chatty personality was pleasantly received. However, her real passion and proudest role was raising her five children. As a mother she poured her heart and soul into her children, raising them with a Godly abundance of unconditional love and compassionate support. LeAnn was a selfless woman with an unmatched ability to sacrifice, provide, and care faithfully for her family. Tragically, cancer cut short her earthly journey, just as she was so joyfully starting to plan for retirement. Her warm and caring presence is dearly and sorely missed by everyone whose life she indelibly touched.
LeAnn is survived by her devoted husband Leslie, her five children; Janelle (Brice), Aubrey (Janina), Hannah (Kyle), Sierah, and Gabriel as well as her six grandchildren; Lane, Norah, Amelia, Fiona, Eden, and Rowan. LeAnn is preceded to Heaven by her mother Betty Bond, mother-in-law Elda Schrag, child baby love, and granddaughter Emery.
A Celebration of Life for LeAnn will be held at Dyck Arboretum of the Plains (177 W Hickory St, Hesston KS) on Sunday, March 19th, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. Donations can be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in memory of Mary LeAnn Schrag. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
