Delbert W. Mellott, age 86, went to his heavenly home on August 11, 2023.
He was born to parents Jewell (Hague) and Willis Mellott, date and place unknown. Delbert loved farming and spent his life doing it. He drove semi?s, and tour buses across the country until he retired in 2011.
He is survived by his wife Pat, his brother Alan (Judy) Mellott, sister Carolee (Jerry) Foth, children Michelle Mellott, Ginette Huelsman, William (Lanette) Mellott, Jacqueline (Travis) Schuler, 10 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Delbert is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. ? 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Petersen Family Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 18, 2023 at Peabody Christian Church with Pastor Mike Ball presiding. Memorial contributions can be made to Good Shepherd Hospice and Peabody Christian Church and left in care of Petersen Family Funeral Home.
