Joyce M. Rose

Joyce M. Rose, 81, of Newton, Kansas, died Friday, December 19, 2014 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Wichita.
Joyce was born on November 18, 1933, in Emporia, Kansas, the daughter of Forest Alexander and Cora Fern Blackburn Arnold. She married Wallace ?Jack? Rose on July 9, 1951 in Boone County, Arkansas. He died on September 5, 1994 in Newton.
She is survived by: son, David M. Rose of Wichita; daughters, Susan C. Faber of Newton, Jackie L. Kuhn of Newton, and Gayla L. Halloway of Wichita; one brother; two sisters; ten grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, and two brothers, Kenneth Lee and Forest DeWayne Arnold.
Joyce was an assembler at Hesston Corporation (AGCO, Hesston Ks). She worked there from 1972-1995. She was a member of V.F.W Post #1980 Auxiliary, and Fraternal Order of Eagles in Emporia and Newton. For hobbies, Joyce loved to fish.
Visitation will be Monday evening, December 22, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Maplewood Cemetery, Emporia. A Memorial service will take place following the graveside service at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday at the Kingdom Life Ministries of Hesston, Hesston, Kansas.
The family requests no flowers with memorial contributions to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or St. Jude Hospital sent in care of Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home, Emporia.
