Secures Proofs On Son's Policy.  Mrs. Ella Taylor, of Cottonwood Falls, was in Newton yesterday securing affidavits with regard to the time when her son, James E. Taylor, was mustered into the service of the government, and such other data as is necessary, and the signing of the proper papers for the collection of the insurance carried by her son.  James E. Taylor was mustered into the service from this county on May 27, 1918, and died of pneumonia in France on October 10, 1918.  The Evening Kansan-Republican, Newton, Kansas.  Saturday, February 8, 1919.  Page 1.  (c) Harvey County Genealogical Society.
