Jewel (Bruton) Norton

Bruton - Norton.  Miss Jewel Bruton and Lyle Norton were united in marriage January 20, at the pastorial residence of Rev. Walker of the Christian Church of Wichita.  Mrs. Norton who is the daughter of Mrs. Anna Stark has been associated with her mother in the Beauty Parlor at the Guymon-Pendroy Dry Goods store for the past 5 months.  Mr. Norton, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Norton, is one of the youngest business men of Newton and has been making a success of his business in the M & N Vulcanizing and Supply Co., at 614 Main.  He is a graduate of the Newton High School and is prominent in the Newton Athletic Club.  The Newton Evening Kansan-Republican, Newton, Kansas.  Wednesday, February 4, 1920.  Page 5.
