Newspaper

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Patterson and was employed in the office of the Norton Tire Store several months prior to her marriage.  Mr. Norton is proprietor of the tire shop and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Norton of Newton.

It was not their intention to keep the marriage secret for any length of time, their thought was to tell their friends as soon as they could find a suitable rental property.  They have recently found a house at 502 East Fifth street where they will soon be at housekeeping and ready to receive the congratulations of their friends.  The Newton Weekly Kansan-Republican, Newton, Kansas.  Friday, May 23, 1924.  Page 3.
