Marian Kay Rice
Marian Kay Rice, 73, passed away on June 20, 2024, in Tulsa, Okla. Born on Nov. 15, 1950, in Elgin, Illinois, she was the daughter of Dr. Orville L Voth and Helen Mae (Voran) Voth.
Marian is survived by her two daughters: Elizabeth Robinson of Arden, North Carolina, and Rochelle Robinson of North Newton, Kansas. She also leaves behind three sisters: Kathryn Voth and
her husband Neil McChesney of Hesston, Kansas; Judy Fisk of Salina, Kansas; and Peggy Voth of Lawrence, Kansas. Her four grandchildren Ian, Isaias, Iasmin, and Iona Navarro will cherish her memory, along with many friends
and extended family members.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Dr. Orville L Voth and Helen Mae Voth and her husband, Steve Rice. Marian held a Bachelor of Arts in Education and worked as an Elementary School
Teacher in Bentley and Sedgwick, Kansas. Later, she became a Private Investigator for the Federal Government. Her love for the mountains and the beach was evident, and she enjoyed traveling with her college friends. Her remarkable
sense of humor and devotion to family will be dearly missed.
