RUDY L. MATSON
Rudy Matson of Walton, Kansas passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 8, 2021. He was born in Wichita, Kansas to Paul S. Matson and Ella Kathryn (McCormack) Matson. The Matson family lived in the Payne Township Areas in Kechi and Valley Center. Rudy was a graduate with the class of 1962 at Valley Center High School, Valley Center, Kansas. Rudy retired from Beechcraft after 43 years of service. He enjoyed many activities, yet his greatest love was his family.
Survived by his daughter Paula(Jeff) Carter of Walton, brother Ray (June) Matson of Clearwater, sister Clara of Cheney FL, sister in law Kathy Mstson of Andover; grandchildren Heather (CT) pierce of Walton, Tommy(Bayleigh) Carter of Bentley, Shawn (Chelsey) Carter of Park City, Tim Carter of Bremerton WA, Madison, Kamryn, Chris Matson of Sedgwick; great grandchildren Damon, Keygan & Payton Pierce of Walton, Hailey, Hagen, & Holland Carter of Bentley, Maddi & Harper Carter of Park City, Korben Carter of WA., Mackenzie Robertson, numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 20, at The Station House in Walton, Kansas. Family asks that you join them in Celebration of Rudy.
