HALSTEAD?Nancy Dee Swart, 81, died, on Monday, July 28, 2024, at Halstead Health and Rehabilitation, Halstead.
She was born Nov. 9, 1942, at Wichita to Melvin and Delila (Furnish) Pitts.
She was a member of Northside Church of Christ, Wichita.
On Feb. 7, 1959, she married Willis David Swart at Wichita; he preceded her in death on April 2, 2014.
Nancy was a homemaker and worked as a keypunch operator for Derby Oil, Pizza Hut and the City of Wichita.
She is survived by her son, Wesley Swart, Bentley; daughter, Deann Swart, Lakewood, Colo.; brothers, Melvin (Linda) Pitts, Halstead, Steve (Virginia) Pitts, Dan (Cristi) Pitts, all of Bentley;
sister, Pam Cullum, Ft. Dodge, Iowa; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by a son, Robby Swart, and daughter, Carmel Denise Swart.
Viewing will be 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1. Visitation with the family will be 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Bentley, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to Good Shepherd Hospice in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
