Kechi, Kansas - Deborah Ann Leep, 65, died Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at her residence.
She was born July 5, 1958, and was a Kechi resident for over 30 years.
She was a graduate of Sedgwick High School and attended Hutchinson Junior College.
She worked as an executive assistant at Boeing and Spirit.
She loved her nieces, nephews, and her music. She was active in the Blues Society of Wichita and was an annual attendee of the Winfield Music Festival. She was also a member of and will be
greatly missed by the Bunko Babes.
Survivors include brothers: LeRoy (Tina) Leep, Jr., Wichita, Stan (Theresa) Garnett, Halstead; father: Darold (Patti) Garnett, Wichita; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Elwood.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Judith Garnett; and her sister: Rebecca Garnett.
A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Radiant Church, 3033 South Hillside, Wichita, with Pastor Greg Williams presiding.
A celebration gathering will be held at a date to be determined this spring.
Memorial gifts may be given to the Kansas Humane Society in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
