Trudie Lueen Wiggers, 85, of Halstead, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at the Pleasant View Home in Inman. She was born on October 6, 1938 in Newton, Kansas, to Wayne W. and
Eula L. (Unruh) Wiggers. She lived on the family farm in Halstead for 82 years. Trudie was a homemaker and worked as a caregiver in the Newton area. She also worked at the Mennonite Weekly Review in Newton. She was a member
of the Meridian Church of God in Christ, Mennonite in Hesston. Trudie is survived by her sister, Nancy Wiggers of Halstead; brother, Eldo Wiggers and his wife, Roberta of Hesston; sister-in-law, Betty Rose Wiggers of Halstead;
and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Orlin Wiggers; and two sisters, Oma Wiggers and Hilda Wiggers. Funeral services will be held on Trudie's 86th birthday at 10:30 a.m., Sunday,
October 6, 2024 at Meridian Mennonite Church, Hesston. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m., Saturday, October 5, at the Moundridge Funeral Home, with family greeting friends from 6:00
