Bruce Edward Sadowsky

Bruce Edward Sadowsky, age 84, died of natural causes on November 9, 2024 in Derby, Kansas. Bruce is survived by his son, Bruce Jr. and wife Laura A. Sadowsky of Arvada, Colorado; his daughter, Lori Ann Ignacio of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, his daughter Linda and husband Russell Tucker of Hutchinson, Kansas and his siblings Mary Sue and husband Mel Voth of North Newton, Kansas, Martin Sadowsky of Newton, Kansas, Bob and wife Terri Sadowsky of Newton, Kansas, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Loretta Marie Sadowsky, of Derby, Kansas; his brother Charles Sadowsky of Newton, Kansas, sister Rosie Sadowsky, his son Brian Sadowsky of Newton, Kansas, and several nieces and nephews.

Bruce was born July 23, 1940 in Newton, Kansas to parents Lida Syndey Sadowsky and John George Sadowsky. He graduated from Newton High School in Newton, Kansas. He was a commercial truck driver, a profession he maintained throughout his entire life. Bruce was a great family man and a loving father. He was a social, active man who was a devout Denver Bronco Fan. His family and friends will always remember him as a friendly, generous, and outgoing person.

A viewing is scheduled for Friday November 15, 2024 between 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home per his wishes, there will be no funeral. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bruce?s life. The family would like to thank his friends/co-workers for the companionship they provided him.
