HUTCHINSON?Willard W. ?Bill? Ropp, 81, died Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Wichita.
He was born February 5, 1943, at Halstead to Elmer E. and Agnes M. (Block) Ropp.
He was a 1961 graduate of Halstead High School and was the owner and operator of W.W. Ropp Construction. He was also a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson,
and the Moose Lodge, Hutchinson.
On February 13, 1965, he married Janet M. Ropp at Halstead, where she survives.
Other survivors include sons Bruce (Kimberly) Ropp, Wichita, and Steve (Valery) Ropp, Hutchinson; daughters Shelly (Matt) Brooks, Hutchinson, and Belinda (Steve) Gumpenberger, Kansas City,
Mo.; sister Arlene Ami?s, Wichita; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Adrik Ropp; brothers George, Gene and Allen Ropp; and sisters Marge Ramsey and Glennis Neufeld.
The recitation of the rosary will be 10 a.m. with the Mass of the Christian Burial following at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 7, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson.
Inurnment will follow at Halstead Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to The American Heart Association or Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
