MOUNDRIDGE?Zella Esther Unruh, 93, died, Friday, November 1, 2024, at Pine Village.
She was born February 16, 1931, at Halstead to Jacob J. and Lena J. (Unruh) Unruh.
She was a lifelong resident of Halstead and worked as a nurse?s aide and in housekeeping at Halstead Hospital for 45 years.
She was a member of Grace Mennonite Church, Halstead.
She is survived by sisters: Mae Unruh, Moundridge; LaJean Becker, Halstead and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Jesse Unruh, and Leo Unruh; sisters: Frieda Koehn, Elida Penner and Johanna Toews.
Viewing will be from 2:00-4:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 6, 2024, at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
Visitation will follow from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Mennonite Church, Halstead.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 6, at Grace Mennonite Church, Halstead.
Interment will follow at Halstead Cemetery.
Memorial gifts may be given to Pine Village in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
