Janelle Sanneman of Newton, Ks died November 17th. Janelle was born on March 5, 1954, at the Lindsborg Hospital and grew up in Marquette, Kansas. She attended Marquette schools and graduated
from high school in 1973. After high school Janelle graduated from Patricia Stevens Fashion Modeling School in Wichita. She married Gaylord Sanneman on September 30, 1980. During their marriage, they lived in Marion and Sublette,
Kansas. Since 2013 Gaylord and Janelle have lived in Newton following his retirement. She was a member of the Trinity Heights United Methodist Church of Newton and the Kansas American Legion Auxiliary. She served as an officer
of the 8th District American Legion Auxiliary and was an active member of Unit #253 of the Edith Hoskanson American Legion Post of Marquette. She was preceded in death by her parents: Evelyn and Emmett Carlson and a niece,
Tracy Bunk. She is survived by her husband, Gaylord of Newton; a sister Cindy and her husband Walter Bunk of Marquette; two brothers: Jon and Kathy Carlson of Tyler, Texas; and Ronald and Sharon Carlson of Aurora, Colorado;
four nieces, Tammy and her husband Scott Feil of McPherson; Tonya and her husband Stacy Kaufman of McPherson; Jill and her husband Tim Crowan, Denver, Colorado; Sara and her husband Mike Lipnick, Denver, Colorado; Lori and
her husband Matt Jordan, Houston, Texas; a nephew Travis and his wife Cayla Bunk, McPherson; and 18 great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to the Trinity Heights United Methodist
Church of Newton, Kansas, or the Kansas American Legion Auxiliary Unit #253 of Marquette, Kansas in care of the funeral home, Affordable Cremations Plus, 7920 W Kellogg Drive, Suite 200, Wichita, KS 67209. Visitation will
be this Wednesday, November 20, from Noon to 4 p.m. at Affordable Cremations Plus. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. this Thursday, November 21, at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery, 5181 Wildcat Creek Road, Manhattan,
KS, with the Rev. Kent Little officiating. The family has entrusted Affordable Cremations Plus in Wichita, Kansas with the services.
