Coweta - Kenneth Harvey Geabhart passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, in Claremore, OK. He was born November 25, 1945, in Albuquerque, NM. His early years were followed by a move
to Newton, KS, where he graduated Newton High School. Ken's early years were spent riding trains, because of his father, Harvey's, role with the Santa Fe Railroad. They also spent many hours together with Boy Scouts,
where Ken proudly earned Eagle Scout. Also in Newton, Ken married the love of his life, Carol, and together they embarked on a life filled with love, adventure, and family. Ken served in the United States Air Force. His military
specialties led them to Eielson Airforce Base in Fairbanks, Alaska. After honorable discharge, they relocated back to Kansas, before eventually settling in Claremore, OK to raise their two daughters, Laura Hanoch and Leslie
Youngker. An adventurous soul, Ken found joy in the skies. He earned a pilot's license at a young age and even owned a plane. Ken and Carol became lovers of the outdoors, experiencing lake life through boating, camping,
scuba diving and spear fishing. He also piloted remote-controlled airplanes with the Tulsa Gluedobbers Club. Faith played a central role in Ken's life, as seen through his prison ministry with the Christian Motorcycle
Association. Ken's commitment to faith was further solidified when he was baptized at First Baptist Church in Claremore. Ken volunteered Sunday evenings at the Claremore Veterans Center, ministering to disabled veterans.
He was preceded in death by parents, Harvey and Wilma (Ravenscroft) Geabhart, and his sister Donna Geabhart Holmes. Those left to cherish his memory are daughter Laura Hanoch and her husband Heath of Tulsa, and daughter Leslie
Youngker and her husband Randal of Broken Arrow and grandchildren; Hayden Hanoch, Taylor Hanoch, Brady Youngker, and Brooke Youngker. A service honoring Ken will be held Monday November 25, 2024, at 2:00 pm, at Claremore Veterans
Center Chapel, Claremore, OK. Share memories at www.brownfamilycares.com.
