WICHITA - Brenda K. Riffel Hanson Reed, 53, Newton, died Aug. 23, 2001, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, Wichita.
She was born Aug. 19, 1948, at Wichita, the daughter of LaMar and Elnora Ebel Riffel. She had been a resident of Newton, moving to Hutchinson 13 years ago. She was a graduate of Newton
High School and attended Wichita Technical School. She was a lab technician for Hutchinson Hospital until 1981.
She belonged to Our Reedemer Lutheran Church, Hutchinson and the Tops.
On Sept. 5, 1998 she married O?Dell Reed at Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include: a daughter, Kim Dispensa, Hutchinson, her mother, Newton; three stepsons, Larry Davis, El Dorado, and Daniel and David Reed, both of Wichita; a stepdaughter, Risa
Red, Wichita; a brother, Brad, and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and a grandchild.
