Jake T. Koehn, 60, Dies at Halstesd

HALSTEAD, Kan., Feb 21 -- Jake T. Koehn, 60, a lifetime resident of Halstead, died at the Halstead hospital Wednesday of tetanus.
Koehn was born on a farm near Halstead and lived there all his life. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Nettie Unruh Koehn; six sons, Lucas, Noah, Menno, Allen, Otis and Harley, of Halstead;
three daughters, Mrs. Ada Nightengale, Chickasha Okla., Miss Ellen Koehn and Miss Vera Koehn, of the home; His mother, Mrs. Tobias Koehn, Halstead; four sisters, Mrs. Eva Schmidt, of Montezuma, Kan. Miss Anna Koehn, Miss Lena
Koehn and Miss Inez Koehn, of Halstead; and four brothers, Wilbur, Harrison, Mich. and Ben, John and Eli of Halstead.
He was a member of Grace Mennonite church. Services will be held at the church at 2 p.m. Monday, with Rev. Carl Dirks and Rev. Paul Becker in charge. Burial will be in the Halstead cemetery.
