Obituary

Donald Coleman, 67, was born in Newton on Oct 3, 1957, to Loretta and Robert Coleman, and passed away on Nov 23, 2024, in Newton. Don graduated from Newton High School in 1975. He worked for Fiberglass Spreader and Builder's Concrete as a batchman. He continued this career in Kansas City working for LaFarge, and eventually returned to Newton to work with his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, darts, shooting pool, and riding his motorcycle. He is preceded in death by his father Robert Coleman and niece Krystal Kammerer. He is survived by his mother Loretta Coleman, sisters Kathy Ditty of Valley Center, Doris Kammerer of Goddard, brother Ken Coleman of Newton, 2 nephews, 1 niece, 1 great nephew, 7 great nieces, and 2 great-great nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
