MOUNDRIDGE?Harley Koehn, 94, died, Monday, January 20, 2025, at Pine Village, Moundridge. He was born July 11, 1930, at Halstead to Jacob Tobias and Nettie (Unruh) Koehn.
He was a lifelong resident of the rural Halstead area, and a member of Grace Mennonite Church, Halstead.
In addition to his farming and dairy operation, he operated the Lakin township maintainer for 32 years, retiring at the age of 81.
On May 3, 1953, he married Alice Marie Koehn in Chickasha, Okla. She preceded him in death, March 22, 2018.
He is survived by son David (Sandra) Koehn, Hillsboro; daughter Carol Koehn, Halstead; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Raeletta Koehn, great-granddaughters Paityn Koehn, and Anna Beth Litchfield; brothers Otis, Lucas, Noah, Menno and Allen Koehn, and sisters Eileen
Dyck, Vera Schmidt and Ada Nightingale.
Viewing will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, January 23, at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Grace Mennonite Church, Halstead.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2025, at Grace Mennonite Church, Halstead.
Interment will follow at Halstead Cemetery.
Memorial gifts may be given to Grace Mennonite Church in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
