Jeff Kelsch passed away on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025, at the Life Care Center of Burlington.
Jeff was born on Oct. 30, 1957, to Dwain and Beverly (Jacobsen) Kelsch, in Newton. Jeff attended schools in Newton and graduated in 1975. Jeff?s career in retail management included
places like World Bazaar, Blockbuster Video and Pottery Barn and took him all over the USA. A traumatic brain injury on the job forced Jeff to settle in Newton, working at Norcraft (cabinet factory), where he retired after
21 years.
After Jeff?s parents passed away, he struggled to live on his own, so he moved to McPherson in 2020 to be closer to family. When the time came that they could no longer keep him safe,
Jeff moved to the Life Care Center of Burlington, where he lived the remainder of his life.
Jeff is survived by his sisters, Denize Anderson and Desiree Kelsch; niece, Traci Anderson; nephew, Eric Anderson; great-niece, Presleigh-Jo Mork; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; brother-in-law, Dennis Anderson; three aunts; two uncles; and one cousin.
There will be no formal service, and an interment will be at a later date.
