Bobby Dale Gawith

Bobby Dale Gawith, 68, of Newton and formerly of McPherson, died Aug. 30, 2001.

He was a salesman for Elixir Industries at Newton and later for Kit Manufacturing at McPherson. He also operated the Tescott Cafe for three years.

Survivors include: former wife, Sharon Gawith, Newton; son, Douglas Jackson, Newton; daughters, Jacque Wedel and Amanda Parsons, both of Newton; step-daughter, Mary Tilley, Newton; brother, Kenneth Gawith, Salina; mother, Madeliene King, Salina; and six grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Shields Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Burial will be at Franklin Cemetery, Tescott. Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the First Church of the Nazarene, McPherson.
