Marietta J ( Knoffloch) Buller

Marietta J Buller Marietta J. Buller 85 died Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at NMC Health in Newton. She was born January 20, 1939, in Wichita, Kansas to Edwin E. and Opal Irene Knoffloch. On August 14, 1960,
she married Larry W Buller in Wichita. They celebrated 63 years of marriage, and he preceded her in death on November 30, 2023. Following high school Marietta graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in education.
She was a school bus driver for the Newton School System. She was also a dedicated farm wife helping where she could, including driving grain trucks. She was a woman of great faith and faithfully served First Missionary Church
in Newton where she was an active member. Marietta greatest joy was being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She looked forward to family time, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She and Larry freely gave their time, talent, experience, and advice to her grandchildren and "adopted grandchildren." She is survived by: Sons-Larry Buller; David (Julie) Buller and Daughter-Amy (Randy) Douvier.
She is also survived by: Grandchildren-Ryan (Anna) Douvier; Bryce Douvier; Sandra (Kent) Funchess; Jamy (Ben) Unruh; Randall Douvier: Janell Douvier; Riley Buller; Sydney Buller; Kelsey (John) Wilks; Connor Buller; Great Grandchildren:
Theordore Wayne Wilks, Jonathan Kent Funchess, and Maliya Joy Douvier; Brother Orren and (Celia) Knoffloch and nine great grandchildren. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 13, 2025, at First Missionary
Church in Newton with Pastors Ray Adams, Dan Quinlin and Ryan Adams presiding. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Petersen Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 2:00 p.m.
to 4:00 p.m. Private burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery Newton. Memorial donations in Marietta's memory may be made to First Missionary Church and left with Petersen Funeral Home.
