Crystal Ann Johnson-Morton

Crystal Ann Johnson- Morton 63, passed away January 4, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas. She was born May 15, 1961, in Las Vegas, Nevada to Francis and Carroll (Palmer) Morton. On February 2, 1980, she married James Yoder in Hesston, and they had three children, Jessica, Zachery and Jacob. Later in life she met her significant other, Rusty Patterson and he survives. Crystal is survived by 2 sons: Zachary (Kristen) Yoder and Jacob Yoder; daughter Jessica Yoder; 5 sisters: Candee (Dave) Wright and their daughters Aimee and Molly; Janine (Dave) Clark and their sons Ryan and Christian; and Jacquelyn, Charlie and Debbie. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren: Parker, Annika, Elijah, and Abigail, and one great granddaughter Londyn. She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 10, 2025, at Trinity Heights United Methodist Church in Newton with The Reverend Kent Little presiding. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Petersen Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A private family interment will take place.
