NEWTON, July 27, -- William H. Black, 85, one of the oldest settlers of Harvey county, a resident here for more than 61 years, died at his home here.
He had been bedfast since Christmas. The funeral was held this afternoon at the home.
He is survived by three sons, Harry and Chester of Los Angeles, and Homer, of Newton and three daughters, Mrs. Henry Cook, Newton; Mrs. Leroy Riley, Los Angeles; and Mrs. B. O. Edwards,
Hutchinson.
