Obituary

Janice J. Garver, 81, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Newton Presbyterian Manor in Newton, KS. She was born April 9, 1943, in Herington, KS to Darrell and Geraldine (Jerry) Jones. On July 14, 1959, she married Dale K. Garver in Woodbine, Kan. Janice is survived by: sons and daughters-in-law; Greg and Leisha Garver of Newton, KS; Troy and Jill Garver of Newton, KS; and Ty and Amy Garver of Basehor, KS; one brother and sister-in-law, Craig and Christine Jones of Herington, KS and nine grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren. Janice was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Dale on August 20, 2013, and her father and mother. A private family interment will be held in Greenwood Cemetery, Newton, KS in the future.
