HUTCHINSON?Cindy Lou Jefferson, 69, died Friday, February 28, 2025, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson.
She was born on January 30, 1956, at Wichita, to John W. and Virginia Lee (Copenhaver)
She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Hutchinson, and was a registered nurse at Hutchinson Hospital.
Cindy loved her family unconditionally and her love of books, cats, rocks and nature was unfounded. She loved to make people laugh. She was one of the most generous people you would ever
meet, and she left the world a little brighter with her kindness and unwavering love for those around her.
She is survived by her son: Jesse and his wife Kim Newberry, Hutchinson; brother: Stephen Jefferson, Hutchinson; sister: Christy (Doug) Hafenstine, Sterling; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Jefferson.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday March 7, 2025, at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, with Pastor Ed Blanchette officiating Whitewater Community Church, Whitewater.
Interment will follow at Halstead Cemetery.
