MOUNDRIDGE?Donovan W. Seiler, 88, died Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Moundridge Manor, Moundridge.
He was born on March 25, 1936, at Halstead, to Walter D. and Priscilla B. (Wiggers) Seiler.
He attended District 33 Gardenview School in rural Halstead and was a member of Grace Mennonite Church, Halstead.
He was a farmer and stockman.
On July 14, 1957, he married Jo Marie Becker at Rich Hill, Missouri. She survives at their home in Halstead.
He also is survived by his sons, Harlan (Lorie) Seiler, Halstead, and Conrad (Shana) Seiler, Sedgwick; daughters, Pam (Arlen) Decker, Moundridge, Laura (Alvie) Becker, Wharton, Texas, and
Emilie (Sheldon) Koehn, Hiawatha; brother, Ron (Roberta) Seiler, Haviland; sister, Anne (Allen) Mayeske, Newton; 19 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, LeAnn Becker; and sisters, Virginia Koehn and Mareda Seiler.
The viewing was from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, March 10, at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, and visitation followed from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Gardenview Mennonite Church, 11626 N.W. 36th St. in Halstead.
Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, also at Gardenview Mennonite Church, Halstead.
Interment followed at Halstead Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Gospel Tract & Bible Society in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
