HALSTEAD?Erma Jean Pjesky Torricelli, 92, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025, at Melrose Senior Care, Poway, California.
She was born Feb. 22, 1932, at Halstead to Herman and Alvina (Becker) Pjesky.
She was a 1950 graduate of Halstead High School and earned her nursing degree from Bethel College. She was a registered nurse.
On Feb. 27, 1958, she married Joseph Salvatore Torricelli at San Diego.
He preceded her in death on June 2, 2021.
She is survived by her daughter, Julia (Romulo) Torricelli Banzon, Poway, Calif.; sister, Arnita (Donald Jr. ?Busse?) Haury, Halstead; and two grandsons, Anthony Staley and Joseph
Banzon.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Pjesky, Delphia Koehn and Lora Andreasson.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 6, at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
A private family inurnment will be at Halstead Cemetery.
