WICHITA?Helen J. Hansen, 93, died Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at her residence.
She was born on October 13, 1931, at Boise City, Okla., to George and Sarah (Kindsvater) Huck.
She was a retired registered nurse having worked at both the Halstead Hospital and Hertzler Clinic.
On June 24, 1951, she married John Harold Hansen at Wilmore. He preceded her in death in 2006.
She is survived by her son Mike (Mary) Hansen, Salina; daughter Patti (Michael) Moore, Wichita; brother Gary Huck, Boise, Idaho; sister Sharon (Worth) Salisbury, Dripping Springs, Texas;
four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a son, Ron Hansen, granddaughter Sarah Melissa Hansen and a sister, Bonnie Fleming.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
Inurnment will follow at Halstead Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Kansas Learning Center for Health in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
