Obituary

On November 30, 2024, our amazing mother Jean Patterson, passed away at the age of 100. Born July 12, 1924, in Newton Kansas, she was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and cherished friend to many. Jean is survived by her son Tom, daughters Mary Kay and Susan (Mike), and granddaughter Kelly. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence, son Edward, and son-in-law Joseph Dowell. Mom leaves a legacy of hard work, kindness, and wisdom. She was a role model like no other. Though she is no longer physically with us, Mom's spirit will shine every day, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. A graveside service will be held on July 17, 2025, at St Mary's Catholic Cemetery at 10:30 am. Katherine Jean Scherer/Patterson
