NEWTON, Kan -- Harold ?Uncle Dale? O?Neal, Sr, 51, Newton, died Wednesday, May 9, 1990, at a local medical center.
He was born in Brockton, Iowa. He served in the Navy from 1856 to 1962.
Mr. O? Neal married the former Charlotte Darlene Betts on Feb. 17, 1962, in St. Joseph, Mo. She survives of the home. He was preceded in death by a brother, John C.
Additional survivors: three sons, Kent A., Harold D. Jr., and Kevin W., all of Newton; two daughters, Malinda G. Jaso and Gayla M. Jackson, both of Newton; three brothers, Dean, Timothy
and Glen D. all of St, Joseph; three sisters, Vivian Nelson and Von C. Portenier, both of St. Joseph, and Verene Krause of Marshall, Mo. six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: 10 a.m. Saturday Petersen Funeral Chapel, Newton, Kan. Burial, Restlawn Garden of Memory, Newton. Visitation: From 8 until service time this morning at the funeral home.
